Earth Day in Oakland!
We were blessed with GORGEOUS weather on celebrating Earth Day planning trees in Oakland. It's always fun and exciting when people come together to make our community Greener and brighter. It was so much fun documenting the whole process!
We also had a special visitor, Oakland Mayor, Libby Schaaf! She listened to everyone's voices and danced with us. What a pleasant surprise ;)

I love seeing these vibrant photos of the community coming together. In this time, when Trump and Pruitt and co. are doing everything in their power to deregulate environmental protections, it is good to be reminded that there are people with a different perspective on these matters with the will to put action behind their words. Thanks for the comment. It is true that no matter what kind of chaos we are in right now, we only have one Earth. Making efforts to protect our precious environment is always on the top of my to-do list.
